The following information was gotten from another Gunbroker user.20 inch barrel s/n 838,456 Made in 1918.Stamped below the serial no. is J.C.`17' which the reseachers believe to be Capt. James Crisp Disbursing Officer-Equipment Division of the signal Corp at Vancouver,Washington Barracks where the guns were allocated originally.The Army order 1800 of these guns that were mostly used in the northwest.The guns are in serial no. range 835,000 to 853,000.
